Why choose the GEM Heatless Desiccant Air Dryer
Built in our Arasur, Coimbatore factory for Indian plant conditions.
–40 °C dew point
ISO 8573-1 Water Class 2. Class 1 (–70 °C or lower) with molecular sieve.
Cycle-failure alarm
PLC control flags a fault instead of letting wet air through.
No costly cartridges
Refill with bulk desiccant – activated alumina or molecular sieve.
Less purge-air loss
Optimised adsorption cycle cuts your running cost.
Steady dew point
Large desiccant bed keeps dryness stable all day.
Easy to install
230 V single phase. Skid-mounted and fully assembled.
Pick your size

Compact HLN series · 20–250 CFM
HLD series · 300–2000 CFM
How it works
- 1
Wet air in
Compressed air from your compressor enters Tower A.
- 2
Desiccant dries it
Desiccant beads soak up the water vapour – dew point down to –40 °C.
- 3
Tower B cleans itself
At the same time, a small flow of dry purge air dries out Tower B.
- 4
Towers swap
The PLC timer swaps the towers, so dry air flows out non-stop.
Air purity to ISO 8573-1:2010
The international standard for compressed air quality. It grades three contaminants – solid particles, water and oil – by purity class. Class 1 is the cleanest measured class.
GEM Heatless Desiccant Dryer
- –40 °C pressure dew point = Water Class 2
- –70 °C or lower with molecular sieve = Water Class 1
- A refrigerated dryer (+3 °C) reaches only Class 4
Particle and oil classes depend on the filters fitted. Tell us the class your process needs – our engineer will suggest the dryer and filters.

Finer particle sizes (0.1–1 µm) are in the full table on desktop.
Classes 7–9 and X cover more particle mass (Class 7: ≤ 10 mg/m³), liquid water (≤ 0.5 to over 10 g/m³) and oil above 5 mg/m³. Values at 20 °C and 1 bar(a).

Questions buyers ask
Why bulk desiccant instead of cartridges?
Bulk media avoids buying costly branded cartridges, and the optimised cycle uses less purge air – so running cost stays low.
What happens if a drying cycle fails?
The PLC shows a cycle-failure alarm, so a fault is flagged instead of passing unnoticed.
What sizes are available?
Compact HLN models from 20 to 250 CFM and HLD models from 300 to 2000 CFM. For other sizes, ask our engineer.
Not sure which size you need?
Tell us your compressor HP or CFM and the dew point you need – our engineer will suggest the right model.
